These Leslie tone cabinets are designed for single-channel organs whose pedal range extends down into the lower frequencies. The sound is separated; with the highs reproduced by a horn rotor and the lows reproduced by a bass rotor . Both the horn and bass rotors can be operated at two speeds: Fast (Tremolo) or Slow (Chorale). These models also feature a traditional tube amplifier for that warm tube sound.

The model 122A is specifically designed for older Hammond Organs requiring a separate tone cabinet for sound reproduction, such as the A, B, C and RT models.

The model 147, which shares the same cabinet design as the 122A, is recommended for single- channel organs with self-contained speaker systems, such as Hammond Organ model A-I00 and spinet models such as M, M-2, M-3, M-I00 and L-I00.

The model 122XB is electrically identical to the model 122, except that its 11-pin connector is designed to interface directly with current family of Hammond Organs such as the XB-3, XC-3 and A-205 Series organs and the XB-2, XK-2, XK-3 Drawbar Keyboards as well as other portable drawbar organs that have 11 pin connectors.
